I believe that in a loose scene of the term we all are destined for something, and that the future can in fact be predicted.
However I also believe in free will.
And that in the end, we all choose our fates or "destiny"
One could argue that both cannot exist, and say that the only reason you did something was because it was your fate.
Say for example you hear that you are going to die one day, so you stay home instead of going to work, only to be killed by a robber.One could argue that you died because it was your destiny, and you had no choice in the matter.
However, did fate really choose for you to die that way? or was it simply a prediction of what you would do, and the consequences their of.
Personally... I believe it is the second.
and that while our fates may be known, we still are ultimately the ones who choose them.
