I got to say that I had a blast traveling to Europe for the first time to places such as France, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium. Out of all the places in Europe though, Holland was definitely my favorite. I absolutely fell in love to the city of Amsterdam. It was such an amazing city and the people there were so friendly and relaxed. Everything from the canals to the old-world buildings created such a peaceful atmosphere.Anyways, now that I'm back, I feel sad having to leave Europe and coming back to the States. I just hope when I'm 21, I can make another grand trip to Europe. I can only dream about it for the moment.

I am from Belgium and I could easily spend 3 days visiting my capital and not see all of the untresting monuments, let alone the museums..
Blame to ur tourist guides, they're to decide what to visit and how long they should stay. Besides, going from America to Europe is not like going from Belgium to England, so you cannot take a "weekend trip", therefore u have to visit as much as possible in the days u have, 'cause probably u will never go back Take ur case: u have very few chances to travel to America, and if u do, u most probably will travel to USA (which is good), which represents a very few and modern part of America, and I'm almost 100% sure u will never travel to Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala or Mexico, even though there are cultures that have more than 3500 years old and truly amazing monuments I guess now u might understand why... quote: Originally posted by Jondar: hehe, the grass is always greener... europeans want to live in america vice versa not all of course i love europe

You have here a good point... and actually I would add Latin America too. People use to think that it's another "west world view" and it's not quite, particularly the idian countries like Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala and Mexico Anyway, I really want to travel to Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and hope tse will be my next destinies (the problem is WHEN hehehe)
