My guess would be ether Alessandra or Adriana.

I would be a little bit surprised if they made Miranda an Angel and then in the same year had her wear the diamond bra...

Although I cant say I would be disappointed.

anyway. I've never been a fan of Izabel, and I know a lot of people are divided on Selita.

Where as Alessandra and Adriana are both very popular, have been for some time, and have the appropriate... 'build' to wear such a thing.

But I think with Gisele leaving, VS is going to start putting more focus on Alessandra. So therefore, I think it will be her this time around.

i think is going to be alessandra, because vs is focusing more on her, and if you go to vs store you see alessandra everywhere.

Yeap I agree in both reasons, you can simply see Ale's popularity in VS offical site or in catalogues.

On the other hand I think VS can make a surprise by giving it to Adriana, but not sure.

i think is going to be ale. i'll be really surprise if they give it to adriana and really shock if it is miranda i doubt it she's going to wear the 1 million bra.

ALessandra totally! she has a big popularity with VS and also with the People that goes to the VSFS remember las years show first segment where she comes out after gisele everyone screams and that hahaha and also in the last segment the people was very calm, adriana went out the runway strike the pose en the comes ale and everybody again scream and ovationed her!

Well...I also think it will be Ale.
But somehow I would like to see Adriana in it...I think she has the better body for it

Nadine and aaron95, I think you need to watch the video again and pay closer attention. They're clapping of Adriana as she finishes her walk and heads back out. How can I tell? If you pay attention, you can see that the majority of the clapping crowd are still looking at Adriana and haven't even turned their heads yet to look at Alessandra who is just appearing. Only a couple of guys on the left closest to where Alessandra is appearing are looking away from Adriana and clapping. Also, when Adriana walks with her black wings to "Beware of the Dog", the crowd doesn't start clapping before she's finished her walk and is on her way out again. See the model as a performer. She does her performance and once she's finished her performance the crowd claps if they liked it (often times). The ovation you get at the end is directed at Adriana's finished performance, not at Alessandra who has barely stepped onto the runway at that point. Even though camera has shifted to Alessandra, you need to pay attention to what the _CROWD_ is looking at when they're clapping. I haven't rewatched the entire show but as far as I remember Adriana (bar Justin) gets the two biggest ovations (of those you see). The first one when she's finished her walk with the black wings and the second one when she's finished her walk with the long white scarf (at the end).

It is hard to gauge popularity but I would say Adriana is still the most popular based on the fact that she has more hits on Google, more than 6 times as many videos on YouTube (5,000 vs 700), 3 times as many comments on Bellazon and from what I was told from a VS sales clerk, catalogs with her on the cover usually sell the best.

Anyway, back to topic. It's no secret that I think Adriana deserves to wear the diamond bra this time. She's been doing the shows longer than Alessandra and was robbed last year when Karolina got it instead. With that said, VS does seem to be focusing more on Alessandra this year so I wouldn't be surprised if Alessandra got it. Truth be told, though, I don't think it would be fair to Adriana...

OMG If I were in your position I would totally say the same thing! I mean if alessandra was almost killed by all the members in this forum everyday I would think the same way you do, and ok they were screaming because of her in the winter segment but in the Justin segment?? it was for ale, she's got lots of covers and she is now very popular in VS, also she got higher possition than Adriana in the FHM pool and of adriana doing the show longer, adriana did it first in 1999 and alessandra in 2000 so its just one year difference, and it would be fair that Ale uses the bra because she has never done anything important in the VSFS, and adriana in 2003 opened the show, and the little interviews during the show were about her, so she has recieved attention, more than Ale, so Ale should totally WEAR the BRA or open the show!

She got higher position in the online version of FHM. In the UK magazine version, Adriana placed higher. Adriana also placed higher in AskMen's list this year and was voted Hottest Girl on the Planet at the Guy's Choice awards. I'm not trying to take anything away from Alessandra because she's a great model. And yes, she is very popular. However, I'm pretty sure Alessandra's first VS show was in 2001, not 2000. So it's a 2 year difference and therefore it makes sense, in my opinion, to let Adriana wear the bra first. Then they can let Alessandra open the ball. Adriana has already been robbed once by Karolina and Alessandra had more walks in last year's show than Adriana had. Not to mention all the exposure Alessandra is currently getting on the VS website.

Again, I love both Adri and Ale, I'm just trying to put things into perspective and give a rational explanation as to why I think it must be Adriana's turn this time.

I've only watched the 2000 show once (maybe only partially, don't remember) and I didn't recall seeing her. But I just watched it again and you're right, she's there. Wikipedia says her first VS Show was in 2001. Someone should correct that.

Anyway, Alessandra entered the game later and so she should wear the bra later as well. That's still my opinion.
