How to make .Gif animations ?

I'll express how to make .gif animations like moderators & some members make and clarify my technique. I hope this information will be useful everyone who wonders the method. (I have given links of softwares that I use below)

First of all, we open Ulead Video Studio and press VideoStudio Editor.

We open the video which we want to make gif of it. Then we can use red marked area to cut the scenes that we use in animation and we put in order them by yellow marked area.

After constituting our video scenes, we reach to "Share" part of editor then press "Create Video File" --> "Custom". Select .avi format and save it. Now we have our animation in .avi format.

After that, we open 123 Avi to Gif Conventer and open our .avi animation by red marked area. Then we resize it (green marked area) to 200x160 (ideal size) and convert it to .Gif (yellow marked area). After that, we save it as .gif format.

Now, we open Macromedia Fireworks. Firstly, we will edit the canvas size. We resize it to 150x150 pixels.

Afterwards, we add new layer to our animation. (Click the file with plus icon under the green marked area) Then we use red marked area to write your name to the animation.

This part is very important, if you do that wrong, your name will be appeared on only one frame. We click twice to "Layer 1" text and a small window will be appeared. After that, we mark "Share across frames" and say "Ok" to warning message.

Eventually, save it as a gif. So, we have just made our .gif avatar.
