The only videos I've found that work are the Adriana Lima videos and, occasionally, the Alessandra Ambrosio one (but not today apparently). Since some work and some don't, it can't be my OS/browser (Mac OSX--tried it in Firefox AND Opera, same problem in both).

The Petra Nemcova video doesn't load, the Rocio Guirao Diaz video doesn't load, Heidi Klum--nope. What happens is the page loads and you just get a blank white box where the video is supposed to be. What's going on?

I checked the videos that u said that doesn´t work and all the vid work!

Nope. I downloaded the latest version of flip4mac (which is only used on a file you've downloaded, not one you're trying to play in a web browser) and I got the latest version of Divx which comes with the latest codec--still no go, same problem with the same videos. Why would the Adriana Lima videos work but none of the others, and the Alessandra Ambrosio video works occasionally and I've had the Petra Nemcova video work fine before too, but sometimes they don't; sounds like a problem with the server or something, but I could be wrong. Doesn't make sense that some videos would work sometimes and not others if it were a problem on my end...

No...there´s nothing wrong with the server, because to me they all work fine.

That is a weird problem, because like u say some videos work, some not.

And besides the videos are all in the same format .wmv

I dont know what to say to u...search in forums or wait here for someone with more knowledge than me to help u.

I've tested all the videos and all works fine, even more, we have had today an average of 140 visits per video per day (aprox numbers) and no trouble.

It seems that you have a problem NOT related to your browser or codecs ( there is just one codec: WMV 9 Pro, no other). What seems to me the trouble is connection speed...

You see, this are High Quality videos (minimum 640x480, 2Mb bit rate) so usually slow connections (like dial ups and below 264 kbps) have exactly that sort of troubles

If you happens to have a fast connection then what might happens is that it is not properly configured (even if it seems to you that other places like YouTube or netcaffe are working fine). I will suggest you to call your service provider and they very probably will help you... there is a couple of places that you can use in case that the server provider doesn't help you (but use at your own risk):

A second probability is memory: either you have open too many programs and/or windows or using a program that uses too much memory or simply you have less than 512 Mb of RAM memory or your cache memory is too low or it's full. On this case:
- Increase your RAM memory to 512 or higher
- Close all programs and windows except the browser and try again
- Clean the cache memory
- increase the cache memory (probably you will need to make some space in your hard disk)

One of those solutions should work
